I see how that would be confusing, I put some minced on the outside minced and some whole on the inside of each hen. I have changed the recipe card to make it clearer, thanks for commenting!

Sorry for the confusion, I forgot the ones I put under. I use 20 garlic cloves and set four in each and four in the pan. I have updated the recipe to reflect that!
